Dr. Fred Koblinger

Fred Koblinger finished his studies on the University of Economics in 1979. He started his careeer in Paris for the Austrian National Tourist Office (Marketing and Sales Promotion). From 1982 till 1986 he was Managing Director of Interhome Austria.

From 1987 to 1991 he started and managed Ogilvy & Mather Direct in Austria. In 1992 he founded Palla, Koblinger& Partner (PKP), in order to prove that communication cannot be split in above and below the line. Quickly PKP became Austria´s number one brand-relationship marketing agency with a strong focus on creativity (4 Cannes Lions). Fred Koblinger sold PKP to BBDO Worldwide in 2000, was then co-founder of Proximity, the BTL network of BBDO. He is a member of the Proximity Worldwide Board and CEO of the BBDO Holding Austria.

His constant engagement for integrated communication solutions was the success factor of PKP BBDO, nowone of the largest agencies in Austria.

Fred Koblinger — once undoubtedly the pioneer of Direct Marketing in Austria today is one of the most senior ad personalities in Austria and well respected internationally.

He is frequently giving speeches at Worldwide Marketing- & Advertising Congresses and was twice jury member in Cannes, in 2005 President of the Direct Lions Jury. He also led the juries for Eurobest in 2006, in 2007 at the Dubai Lynx Awards and in 2009 at the Spikes Awards in Singapore.

Justin Hooper

Justin began his career as a copywriter at Euro RSCG Hong Kong in the nineties. Moving to London he worked at some of the UK’s best agencies including Ogilvy, Lowe and 90s agency of the decade HHCL.

His work for Unilever and the COI won, amongst many other accolades, four Cannes Lions, three Gold and one silver and a D&AD silver pencil before he returned to Euro RSCG in London as Creative Director. He created the famous Citroen dancing and skating robots as well as the advertising that brought David Cameron to power and won another D&AD Silver Pencil and Cannes Lion before taking the position of ECD at Ogilvy Istanbul.

His advertising writing has been included in the D&AD book of copy and been made part of the English coursework for the UK’s national school curriculum. His work for Impulse was judged the ninth best advert of the twentieth century by Channel 4 and the Dancing Robot was in ITV’s top twenty ads of the twenty first century.

Kirsten Hohls

Kirsten was born in England and grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She decided early on to study Graphic Design because of her artistic ability. After an initial misconception that a career in advertising meant sketching all day long, she had her first real idea and has been hooked ever since.

After eight years of art direction for award-winning agencies such as TBWA Hunt Lascaris which earned her Cannes gold, she combined her love of art with that of travel and spent two years in the Middle East gaining her first experiences in regional communication. From there, she worked in London at Young & Rubicam before moving on to Germany. The Audi account at Saatchi & Saatchi Frankfurt yielded a silver Lion amongst other awards. Urmas Villmann

Urmas Villmann is the Creative Director and partner of one of the largest and most successful advertising agencies in the Baltics. He is also the founding member of ADCE Estonia. Villmann has a degree in graphic arts from the Estonian Academy of Art. He has been working in the field of advertising since 1993. His experience includes agencies such as DDB Estonia, EuroRSCG Idea and since 2000 Urmas has been working in Leo Burnett. Under his creative direction, Kontuur Leo Burnett has been rewarded the title of the Estonian Advertising Agency of the year in 2003 and 2009.

Bruce Parramore

Bruce Parramore is an accomplished painter and illustrator, and draws extensively on these backgrounds in his film work. Bruce has directed commercials since the mid 90s, winning numerous international awards, working with a wide variety of clients such as Coca Cola, City Bank, Skoda, MC Donald, Heineken and others. He gets great performances out of his actors. He is a wonderful storyteller and finds original ways, to get across the emotions and messages to the audience. Bruce Parramore's film Zenith was chosen for the highly selective Berlin Film Festival in 2004, and went on to win the Grand Prix at Trevignano, as well as winning awards elsewhere. His last feature film LOVE & DANCE, a musical, was a blockbuster in Poland and received the Public Golden Award in 2009.

Paul Syrysko

Paul was an Internet pioneer, creating the very first websites in the UK for Unilever back in 1994. He founded the UK's Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) in 1997 and he also built the first website for a UK ad agency. He founded the Lintas (now Lowe) agency in Poland and later as Regional Director East Europe at Leo Burnett, his team won a Gold Lion at Cannes for Ikea along with countless local awards across his network. Paul was the CEO of Starcom Germany where he installed Germany's first ad agency intranet, the Head of Technologies at Initiative Media in London and he founded internet start-up Stream Communications in London which developed a large number of Internet services for Unilever.

Grigory was born in snowy Novosibirsk in 1987. Studied economics at Novosibirsk State University. Started his career at the age of 12 as interactive designer. Paul was an Internet pioneer, creating the very first websites in the UK for Unilever back in 1994.
