Description | OKarte is the second biggest pre-payment card in Latvia, but it didn’t have its own face. We created five masks who came to demolish the boundary separating the virtual world from the real one. The masks allow you to find ideas on the Internet, bring them to life and share your experiences with your friends on social networks. On the day when the masks hacked into OKarte’s homepage, every third person making a call to an OKarte number that day heard an announcement from the masks. This was the first time in Latvia that a call out signal was used as a campaign medium. On OKarte’s homepage, the masks gave mobile Internet to everyone who remembered the Error password – 404 – and played the game. The masks revealed their personalities at a top secret military site, while on Latvia’s biggest social network, young people could find out which of the masks was the closest likeness to them. Now, OKarte’s masks have become icons of Latvian pop culture, while OKarte has acquired its own unique face. |
