DescriptionSituation: In today's world, music on the CD is interested by a very insignificant part of the audience. Each record quickly appears on the Internet, digitized in details. And the discs are either for those who respects copyright or who has certain aesthetic preferences. Late last year, a Moscow music brand "Geometry" scheduled to release a new album of underground group of "Kontora Kooka" called "The virus of jazz." Task: Create a cover that would not only shows a musical conception of the album, but by itself would be a reason for buying the disc. Solution: 1. The unique packaging instead of the usual plastic boxes. 2. A surprise inside. Those who like to download music from the Internet, can see only the front side of the cover - neat logo on a beige background. We pointed out that the full version will see only the owners of the original edition, and it was an additional incentive to buy the disc. 3. At a conceptual level, the cover is fully consistent with the music. It seems to be simple, whereas inside it is saturated. It is symbolic that we have opportunity to flip the image and the logo: the essence is not changed, the old style, but other accents. 4. The illustrations, logo and fonts designed specifically for this edition. Design elements of the CD cover became the basis of design posters and paraphernalia accompanying the release.
