Paul Syrysko
British communications specialist
Paul was an Internet pioneer, creating the very first websites in the UK for Unilever back in 1994. He founded the UK's Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) in 1997 and he also built the first website for a UK ad agency. He founded the Lintas (now Lowe) agency in Poland and later as Regional Director East Europe at Leo Burnett, his team won a Gold Lion at Cannes for Ikea along with countless local awards across his network. Paul was the CEO of Starcom Germany where he installed Germany's first ad agency intranet, the Head of Technologies at Initiative Media in London and he founded internet start-up Stream Communications in London which developed a large number of Internet services for Unilever.
Paul continues to work at the forefront of technology and innovation. He owns a software development company in the UK that has created market leading web applications for life sciences and he recently announced a start-up that is developing apps for brain — computer interfaces.
He is a visiting lecturer at the Kiev Advertising Academy, where he teaches creativity and innovation skills.
