Description | Brief: In 2012, MegaFon started sponsoring Cirque du Soleil’s new show, Zarkana. The aim of the project was to draw attention to Cirque du Soleil’s new show and give out prizes from the sponsor. Launch – 1 February 2012 Idea: To engage visitors in the wonderful, magical atmosphere of the most famous circus in the world, giving everyone the opportunity to perform! Solution. Creating an interactive promotional website with a circus look and feel. THE CIRQUE The circus-master offers you a place in the troupe if you can complete three trials: The first trial involves tightrope walking, the second involves hoop-spinning, and the third tests your skills as a juggler, catching skittles. How it worked: In order to take part in the trials, users had to register on the site using a login from one of three social networks: Facebook, Vkontakte, or Twitter. Participants could earn between 1 and 1,000 points at each trial. The score was calculated from the results of all three trials. Participants could earn additional points by sharing their circus achievements on social networks and collecting ‘Likes’ from their friends. The top 10 virtual Cirque du Soleil performers received prizes from the sponsor. First month results: Unique visitors during the month the site was operational: 821,940 Average time spent on the site: 5 minutes Number of participants: 1,360 |
