DescriptionThe Agency has carried out a range of work for creating the brand new retailing line for Schelkovo-Agrokhim. Products under “Octyabrina Aprelyevna” brand name are for gardeners and summer residents and include everything that might be necessary for them in their fascinating hobby: from fertilizers for various crops to pest killers of different kinds.
Given that the brand’s TA are people brought up in the USSR and caught the time of “About tasty and healthy food” book and central television presenters’ bouffants, it was decided to design corporate identity in a bit reconsidered retro styling. So, the typography of the 50’s was used for corporate logo. Stalin-era empire style was chosen as the key dimension for packaging. The so called “garlands” were the distinctive features for that trend in architecture. Those “garlands” but a bit reconsidered made up of fruit and vegetables has become a part of “Octyabrina Aprilyevna” package. The color palette and the form of packaging – flacons with sloping “shoulders” are of the same era ancestry. Propaganda slogans in POS-materials are the logical extension of the chosen style.
