Description | The challenge for the agency was to create brand name and packaging for the Georgian wine “Chkhaveri”. Wine “Chkhaveri” is made of very rare grape type, which grows only in the mountain region of Adjara (western region of Georgia, Black Sea coast). The name of the capital of Adjara – Batumi helped us while working on brands name and the concept of the label. By the initiative of the British, Batumi was called Porto Franco in 1878-1886 years – in those times it was free economic zone. There should be mentioned the unique location of the city. This is the only city whose latitude and longitude are the same. Since the main segment of our brand are tourists, in the design concept we have used the idea of uniqueness of the location of the city, the coincidence of latitude and longitude – 41.3 degrees. The main element of the package design is the map of the Black Sea coast, created by the Portuguese cartographer in 1559. |
